Highway Weather runs on multiple mobile device platforms (iPhone / iPad and the vast majority of Android phones and tablets). Depending on what platform you use, you'll want to make sure your device or devices meet the minimum system requirements. This article explains the minimum system requirements your device needs to run Highway Weather.
Android Requirements
- Android Version - Requires Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer.
- Android Device Requirements - Please be advised that the older a device and / or a device's operating system is, the more likely users are to encounter issues such as slow performance and app crashes. Even if a device is running Android 5.0 or newer, there are multiple factors that may influence performance, such as:
- The Available Memory of the Device: Your device may be negatively affected if you have a large amount of apps installed. You may want to consider removing apps you no longer use.
- The Age of the Hardware: As technology advances, software and hardware often evolve in lockstep. As such, notably older devices - in spite of any listed "technical" compatibility with software - simply may not run as well as newer devices that have the most up-to-date hardware internals.
iOS (Apple) Requirements
- iOS Version - Requires iOS 10 or newer.
